It all begins with an idea.

My name is Ting and I created Postbakes to make it simple for you to get super tasty, interesting cookies delivered through your letterbox.

My passion for cooking and baking developed during March 2020 at the start of the COVID pandemic. Like millions of people around the world, my family and I were stuck at home and I had to think of interesting and tasty meals for my family.

I created an Instagram page called FoodandTing where I posted weaning recipes, family meals and baked goods. As the lockdown wore on, I felt this itch to do something more with my time and after many discussions with my (very supportive) partner, we came up with the idea of selling baked goods. Many years ago there were plans of selling Chinese dumplings but that never came to fruition.

I did a lot of research and decided to go for letterbox cookie boxes, something that could be delivered that didn’t require the recipient to be in to answer the door to the postie!

I tested many batches of cookie dough in various tins and timings and finally I found the perfect depth for my loaded cookie bars! My tester cookies ended up being gifted to friends, family and the local care home office staff!

Postbakes is located in a small town of Bishops Castle, Shropshire. I offer local delivery within the town and local collection for anyone outside of the Bishops Castle walking radius!
